Man Alive! I've seen a truckload of 1869s for sale in the past couple of months! What's with that? Were they a high production model? I have one, and it plays and sounds great. When I was looking for one some time ago, there didn't seem to be many out there. But now it seem like everyone who owns one is trying to sell theirs. Maybe they are dumping them to raise cash for the new reissues huh?

Same thing happens with me and cars, Vince. I buy something that seems to be fairly uncommon, then I see them all over the place.

These things do tend to run in cycles on eBay, but there is a lot more listing than normal in the couple of months before Christmas.

Yes, there are a lot of them.
