My 12 string (std Balladeer 6751) has a pretty meaty neck up top, I was wondering how close the underside of the Kaman Bar is to the outside...
Could I remove some wood and reprofile the neck to resemble the Glen Campbell (1118) neck (same as a pacemaker) I once had... It was the easiest guitar for me to fret I ever had...
I still get an ache in my hands with the 6751., and it would actually go away when I picked up the Glen Campbell !!!

I've found the Kaman bar necks to be a bit chunkier than the older truss rod necks, but I have a 1755 Custom Balladeer 12 with the Kaman bar that has a very slim neck profile. Perhaps your Balladder has a different neck profile than mine.
I wouldn't try to reprofile. Unless you're an expert luthier with the right tools, you'll just end up damaging it.
