I'm hoping to get some info on an Ovation bass I have. I bought a Ovation Tangent prototype bass off a guy I know who is sponsored by Ovation. He didn't know who had the others they made (he believes that 5 were made in total, all for sponsored players) so I emailed Ovation which said that they only made a few of them but did not tell me who had the others. I've seen online that all of the guys from Megadeath have tangents and it lists their bass player so I'm assuming he has one. Anyone have any clue? Any idea how I could find out? |

The only one I've seen was relisted numerous times on eBay earlier this year. It finally sold for $544.99 at the end of July. The eBay Seller was planetoftheamps (Los Angeles, CA?) and the Buyer was joshuablank.
The Seller's auction title was, "OVATION TANGENT BASS ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC only 4 made."
