| My friend Howie and his young luthier Brett threw this together for me for Xmas... unknown neck-through body(maybe Turser)... completely stripped and refinished, installed oem(Gibson) wilkinson roller nut and tree, mini grovers, new pickup trims,
schaller tp456 bridge w/fine tuners, and a set of passive EMGs H4/H4A... topped off with elixir 10's
I know you can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear... but came out a very nice guitar...
what you think?
plays like a dream and sustains for days...
Brett Spillers makes some pretty good custom guitars and basses... all neck through like this... he had fun throwing this one together out of parts around the store...
was a nice gift from good friends... and at least I think it (kinda) looks like a gp.
God Bless,
Glenn |

I think you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. That is a beautiful guitar. If the action is as good as the substain, then you have a winner. With no brand name on the head it looks nude. What kind of case do you keep it in? |

| no case yet... but I keep all my guitars hung in swings or in a stand... Howie gave me a nice PRS gig bag for it as well... and the action is perfect... Brett recessed the roller nut into the fretboard and built the upper shelf for the nut out of tusq... as close to a zero nut as I've ever had..
it's definitely a keeper.
God Bless,
Glenn |

The coal doesn't taste so good and the onions burn funny.
