I thought I might change my strings so I dug into the closet to get the box of strings I bought way back in 1990. I was playing in a band then and I forgot they are electric strings. Gibson G-900ML 340 Nickel Plus (.011 gauge). Now I am thinking acoustic strings might sound better since I am no longer using a pickup on my O. I wonder if 15 year old strings will sell on Ebay... any thoughts?

It might sell but for how much? If they were older they would be easier to sell. Use the word vintage and it will sell.

I sold some old Rotosound bass strings from the '70s on ebay about a year ago. I had 3 sets, new in the package.

Figured I would make some big bucks but got almsot zero interest. Ended up with all 3 sets going for about $35.

Vintage and strings really don't go together. They're kinda like bread, best when fresh.
