Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | If you have a band, or are a solo act, or just have a web page for your own music please post the link with a short description.
PLEASE JUST POST YOUR LINK AND A SHORT DESCRIPTION IN THIS THREAD. Only post your links as an ARTIST, not general Ovation guitar links. And please, only post YOUR OWN link (for yourself or your band). After I get the first few, I will create a page in the links area for Artists/Musicians of the Ovation Fan Cub. I was going to ask for emails, but posting here will make them immediately available "searchable" too. |

Our new site will have a Links page (of course with an OFC link and links to our fellow NJ acoustic "working" brotheren...if they're nice! among others-it's all been given to our webmaster) and our gig schedule...this pathetic temporary site is really incomplete. I had to put something up quick when I got business cards printed with the web address.

We need to get ours updated!!
The only thing that ever changes is the calendar (when I get a chance to do it . . )
Other than that, it's never changed since the beginning. |

Kid On A Pony
4 piece band, folk-rock sound, mainly acoustic guitar/mandolin/bass/drums - but do play some electric, we switch instruments throughout the set.
Covers and originals, all take lead vocals at some point, lots of fun!
Thanks

"John has very Dylan like Qualities in his writing and music."
Quote from Jim Femino
Nashville
Jim works wih Toby Keith and Vince Gill.
This is very appreciative considering John is not country. It goes to show a good song shows no boundries.
Styll-composer John Harvan aka Styll is original, pure, and straight from the heart. The irony of the music is that it started with the death of a dear friend to cancer and ended with the death of a grandmother to heart surgery. Styll represents songs of life and the search for healing in this world we all call home.It deals with the struggles and triumphs we all face and that never ending will to succeed. |

Location: Isle of Man, UK | Afraid that I have no links, but I'll put the band names up anyway:-
The Blue Train Big Band (which doesn't feature me on Ovation, usually either a 1985 Guild Brian May or my own handmade Strat) - both Swing and Rock & Roll standards. Wonderful singer too (no prizes for guessing who, people!)
Also, "Livewire", an eight-piece party band (with the add Ovation from me). One gig together so far, but lovin' it!!
A strange post, as most of you guys seem to be US-based, and aren't really likely to ever find yourself on the Isle of Man with nothing to do, but hey!
Happy New Year all.

Hey, Cliff remember when we were recording at my place and we had that bad mic cable? Well, I finally said this is BS and I threw away all 4 mic cables and bought some high end chi-chi things that cost more than some guitars I've owned. And guess what - the problem was the L channel input jack on the interface board !!! So, now I got a new breakout box to go with the NOT NEEDED new mic cables. In the famous words of Phil Mickleson "I am such an idiot".
