Location: SoCal | Al made several announcements tonight at the party at my house. I'll be brief as I'm really tired and need to get some sleep
1. The koa slothead guitars are in. I think he said he has them at his house. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
2. The 12 string Utes should be available in a few weeks.
3. The OFC guitar is a go. Basically, it's a #47 reissue with the original blue top (no burst), 2 knobber electronics and some really neat swag (Al didn't really specify what). He's ordered 12 initially so contact him if you're interested.
4. The big Kaman news is the creation of a Custom Adamas Shop. This means that the whole world can order the kind of stuff that we've been doing. I would guess (and it's only a guess), that the Adamas I & II and the #47 RI sold really well. This is great news.
Anybody who was here tonight and can fill in the blanks, please do so. Or correct me where I'm wrong. I'm going to bed...... |

Location: Germany | Thanks Paul! That are really great news, especially the Custom Adamas Shop. I wonder if there is the possibility to order the #47RI with a 1 7/8" wide-neck and 2-knobber-electronics. That's the guitar I've been looking since years.

Due to the adult nature of some of the content, I think Miles & Al (well, they did it too!!) are going to have to censor the pics Templeman took.

The 1 7/8" neck is a go for the OFC guitar on a special order basis. Start saving. It's going to be more expensive than the 47 RI. |

Location: Germany | It's a pity that they offer 1 3/4" only. I like the real wide neck the old Adamas 1689 had. Think they stopped production in the late eighties.

Location: Boise, Idaho | If the OFC guitar is finally going to happen, it looks like I'm in. I wasn't around when it was a hot topic on the board, but just finished reading all the old posts. At dinner, I had a stroke of luck when SWMBO asked if I was in withdrawal because I hadn't bought a guitar in awhile. I told her I was saving for the OFC guitar. She asked how much and didn't act too shocked at the answer. I hope it's not too much more than estimated, although I saw that some of you thought $2000 was high end back in 2004.
She said I didn't have a blue Adamas and I just try to please her. |

Location: NJ | the koa guitars did not ship. It was a glitch in the computer and my over zealous sales rep spoke too soon.
I have been told that they are in the assembly process now.
the sames goes for the 12 strings |
