It's been a little while.
Here's some BMinor jamming on my Ovation 1771 LX. Little rough in spots, but it was fun!

Location: Tennessee | Hi George ... very nice! I've spent a little time over on guitaristworks and really enjoyed all your stuff. Very prolific and oustanding guitar work to boot! Come over here a little more often ... and maybe put something on the next OFC CD. |

(And I don't think new strings will do the trick.)
Very Nice! |

I really enjoyed that. Thanks for sharing. It kinda makes me long for a 1771LX. Perhaps that'll be my 6 string Ovation purchase, though I'm sure mine will never sound as good as yours. gee, Must haev something to do with the player. :) |

It seems the 1771LX can sound very good when put into capable hands.
Please tell us more about your equipment setup. |

The 1771 is great. Moderatly priced, with a great sound.
I went from the 1771 LX to a Hamaha AG Stomp directly into Cubase. |

The other song on the page is "Santa Fe Sunrise"
Taylor 414 CE for comparison. They have distinct sounds, the Ovation and the Taylor, for sure. The Ovation sounds a bit richer to my ears. Taylors tend to be bright.
