I ordered 3 "VERY" special guitars a few months back. They should all arrive within the next 2-3 weeks.....which is beginning to seem like months.

This waiting is getting very old very fast.

and not even a realistic picture anywhere to help tide me over!

Yeah, most of us want to but don't have the finances to order a "VERY" special guitar, but three of them?????

You gotta fill us in. It'll make the waiting easier. Just be forewarned that your "creativeness" will be judged against some of the other OFCer's custom orders. :D

Not sure of the third one, but Stephen has stated in past threads he ordered matching Adamas 6 and 12 string baritones -- i think 2080's

Let me just say that gh1 is correct in that 2 of the 3 are the matching 2080D baritones....a 6 stringer and a 12 stringer.

The 3rd guitar is one that I was told would not happen unless a large order was placed. I don't want to say anymore because even though I have been told it actually happened (w/o the accompanying large order), I haven't seen it and until I do, I will withhold the information....less I curse myself and things never materialize.

If it comes to pass, pictures and details will be posted here first.....assuming I don't suffer a heart attack when I get the COD bill  (because no....I am not sure WHAT my final cost will be on the guitar that could not happen)!

A 12-string Adamas Baritone!...You can first-chair an entire Orchestral rhythm section with one of those.. :)

St28 is my hero. When I grow up I want to have guitars like him!

Actually there has been a lot of planning, begging, hoping, ok GASsing over some of the custom builds that may or may not have been built.

Understand the retooling required to make a Baritone LX neck or top. Stephen has been part of a Team of Fanatics that have been pushing the limits. I'm in for wood top Baritone LX w that the flood gates have opened.

Thanks Stephen!

Possible mid-late February.

The good news is they may soon have a stock of the Abalone inlays for D scale necks. It seems nobody asked before now?

I opted for the DS768 style side markers.

I thought that would look pretty cool on the 2080D.

I've emailed the shipping address to Mr Budny. So that's one job you don't have to worry about.

I thought one of the three would be the Al special Koa. Aren't they due to show up soon?
