It might be interesting to see what age the Ovation products appeal to as well. |

Or should I re-phrase that to read - 'the most populated group'.
Probably still the 'biggest' group as well. |

Slap bang in the middle, in fact. Hitting 30 in July.
Although when I was 25, I'd been playing Ovations for over 5 years and had 4 of them, so I was tempted to vote lower...

after all, age is only a number and I don't act it even if, sometimes, gets in my wife's nerves. Besides, when I'm at work, my colleagues tell me that they see another child, especially when I'm with the child(ren). :) I take it as a compliment :) |

In between I write and work on solo and band CDs, and sometimes I sleep - a schedule that would, I daresay, crush even some of the young whippersnappers around here.
I can't do anything about growing old, but nobody says I have to grow UP!

- Learned to play as a teen because guitar was cool.
- Got married and had babies in early twenties and sold or stashed guitars.
- Kids are moving out and spare time/money flows back in.
- Need something to occupy my time and keep me out of Momma's hair! |

The best thing I ever did was start my new band last year. Talk about getting your money's worth out of a mid-life crisis! We are having a ball. This is the most fun I've ever had. |

...the ability to spend, play and sit at the PC is a right reserved for semi empty nesters. The only category that I would add to that is people who work out of their houses when they're not on the road... which I fall squarely into.
With a 10 yr. old, I've still got a few years left before the nest empties out. |

The latter, and I'm the PrimeCandidate . . .
(unless she decides to re-marry, but I doubt she's willing to derail the GravyTrain)
I've made it my Mission in Life to die at the microphone as opposed to just keeling over at my desk (unless of course, I fall forward and my head hits the "delete" button on the keyboard and someone else has to re-do all my work . . . having "the LastWord" is real big w/me . . . ). |

Hell, maybe they'll even make Ovation sleds.

But I'm sure we're not the only geniuses in the house...
You make a very serious mistake in assuming that people in charge know what the hell they are doing.

They are NOT checking on to a bulletin board to find out what a bunch of guys, most of whom are old enough to be their fathers, are talking about (no matter how cool we know we are). |
