| Hi,
I have looked for days on the web trying to find my guitar. It is a CS 257, and the serial number is 1126781. I was going to upload a pic, but I don't know how. If someone knows how to do this, please let me know (pjm@unb.ca). I can email you a picture as well.
If anyone can tell me when it was made, and what it is worth, I would appricaite it.
Thanks
Peter |

Location: CT | You can post a pic of your guitar in the member access section(click link on the left). Click the "Utility" button, and follow the instructions. You can make whatever photo albums you want, and put titles and descriptions of the pics(100mb max size, I always have to re-size mine). Then you can right click that image, get properties, then copy and paste the URL 'Address' to put the image in a thread here. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | It's a Celebrity Deluxe. Made in Korea. There are millions out there, so I'm surprised you couldn't find any. No one knows the meaning of the Korean serial numbers. Check ebay for some values. Several CS257s are sold on ebay every day. |

| Cool.
Thanks for the help posting the pics. Now if someone else (or yourself) can answer the other questions, that would be awesome.
Thank you again, and here are the pics.

| In reply to "Mark in Boise",
I have been able to find many with that model number, however, I have not found any that look like mine. Please see attached pics. Most have a much different frinish. There is usally a dark black area around the outside edge of the guitar, and most don't have the *flamed* type frinish.
If you have a picture of one like it, I would really be interested in seeing the link.
Thank you again for your reply,
Peter |

Location: Tennessee | The Celebrity line gets lots and lots of different tops which are made in batches and then they move onto a different look. Some, like the flamed tops, are more popular therefore they make more of them. Looks like yours is a quilted (maple?) top; I've seen these before in a variety of colors. You ahve a very nice looking guitar! What kind of music do you play? |
