In my search for real ebony buttons, I landed at AllParts . They have them, plus many other parts....

I hadn't heard of them prior to this, but rang them up and they were great. Put them on your reference list.

A lot of the big chain stores will have an All Parts turning display stand with all sorts of little packages on them with knobs and pots and screws or whatever. Very convinient to look thru these and find what you need rather than a long drawn out explanation to the dumbstrudk acne-faced teenager behind the counter.

if you buy direct you pay retail.
better to go through a dealer.
