Location: San Jose California | Help! I just restrung my LX1773 and am getting a buzz from the transducer, when i replaced the strings there were about 5 shims under the transducer one white and 4 natural colored shims, does the white one matter where it is? I used D'Addario EXP45 normal tension, also when I first bought it the low E buzzed on the first fret so I just put a piece of paper to shim it up a bit, any suggestions? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Search for "white plastic thingy". I think if you don't get it in the right spot, the preamp doesn't pick up all the strings. That's a lot of shims, especially for that new a guitar. |

Location: San Jose California | At first i put it against the transducer (on top) and then i tried it at the bottom, but still have the same buzz, the buzz is not coming from the transducer but from the strings themselves. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Buzzes are hard to track. See if you can isolate a string. It might be a wire inside vibrating against the top, a string buzzing at the nut, or any number of things. Waskel found a pick in my 1537 that was causing a buzz and I never used a pick on it. |
