| Hi I am new to the board. I am a long time Ovation fan, I just purchased a guitar over the weekend that I thought I would never have in my wildest dreams. It is an Adamas 1685-7 12 string. It is in great shape and I bought it at a pawn shop for $600.00 dollars. From what I have found out so far it is an Adams II made in 1995, other than that I know nothing about this guitar. If there is anyone that can help provide me with som specs, like what the nut and saddle are made of, fret board radius, nut width. Also there is an 88 writen on the label inside, I know this isnt the serial #, can anyone tell me what this is, I thought it might mean this is the 88 1685-7 built that year, but I am not sure. Last is this still a desirable guitar out there, not sure if this was top of the line Adamas or if it is rare, and did I get a good price. I cant find any info on this guitar. Thank You all for any help, Brison. |

Post some pics if you can figure out how. I've been hanging around here for years, but I still have to email my pics to someone who will then post them for me. Anyway...pics will help bring on the detailed help. John. |

By the way, nice grab. |

Not that there's anything wrong with that : ) Did you see ProfBB's room? That just screams "issues" yet most of us did little more than drool over it. Oh, there's probably plenty wrong with it but we just don't see it. Or maybe we ignore it...?
Nah. We don't see it. |
