Location: south east Michigan | For a few reasons, one of which being the OFC Lobby Jam, BrianT & I have cowboy-ed up and went to concert pitch.
We went a half step down in the first place for vocal reasons. We have found that most of the ones we went flat for are no longer a problem. On the other hand, there are a few that will require some serious practice.
Even with just a half step up it's harder to get that Orbison warble in "Pretty Women" the way I like it. And "Won't Get Fooled Again", sketchy to begin with, has become problematical.
Well, we got a couple months to work it back up to speed. |

Expect that soon your voices will lower, you will get acne, and your parents will start letting you wear long pants and stay up past 9!
If you still have problems you can always cahpo on the 11th fret! |

I used to look at Roy sideways when he would tell me this kind of stuff, but he swore that he saw notes in colors. I never thought to ask him what the happy note was. LOL! He died ten years ago a the age of 40. He was one of the best. |

Synesthesia.
A lot of people have it.
Some see/assign colours to letters/numbers as well . . .
It's pretty fascinating. |

Ahhh... to be one of those types that can "see" colors.
I look forward to meeting you Goob. Seems like if I can keep my ears open and my mouth shut I just might learn something from ya. |

What do you want to hear Brian and Brad sing at the tour. I vote for "If I had $1000000" by the BareNaked Ladies.
Any other suggestions? |

Take your pick.
Personally, I'd like to hear their rendition of "Henry the 8th". |

| Capo the Orbison stuff up one fret, to get back to standard tuning.
To be honest if your singing Roy's songs the way he sings it you should not be having any trouble with most music. He had a great high vocal range.

Location: south east Michigan | It was easy to just capo up to conform when it's just cowboy chords, but it makes Brian's lead work a lot harder. You get used to seeing the dots in a certain place. |

| Yep for sure; Save the standard tuning until the last set and tune up for those or do what I do and have a second guitar ready to go. I use four completly different tunings in one eening and I capo four different frets to get the chord arangements where I want them. you'll work it out.
Fun ain't it!
