My little one is making progress on her baby nylon string. Being surrounded by Ovation fanatics she naturally wonders if there is one sized for her pre-teen self (going on 10). Is there such a thing and is it any good?

The Celebrity electrics keep showing up at well under $200 and have a lot of playability. The Trekker and some Applause 3/4 and 1/2 are out there.

I have an AA12 that is 1/2 size out on loan. With a set of Silk-n-Steels it is a nice smaller unit. Let me see where it ended up.

both are good instruments. get one of each, you'll wind up with the one she doesn't play and you'll like it.

Thanks fellas. I am looking, I guess, for the best quality STEEL stringer acoustic O at the 3/4 size. Is the Applause IT then? Sounds like a plan. I'd hate for anyone in my family to stray and get involved with enemy programs like Gibsons or Taylors or whatever. Keepin' it round, baby.
