My mum gave me this cool little book for Christmas..The Little Black Aussie Songbook.. dunno if any of you Aussies out there have seen it. It's got "200 classic and contemporary Australian songs" in it all arranged in the original keys.

After going through it a dozen times I discovered a chord chart folded in the back and decided to have a look to see how much I didn't know.

The final 16 chords are "H" chords which look suspiciously like B chords to me..

Has anyone ever head of an H chord or is this just a typo...or...is there something I've been missing for all these years

H is B!
In german it goes c d e f g a h c. As far as I know, this comes from a writing failure. A little b handwritten looks similar to an h.

Whew...
That was close.
I almost fell into it myself.
Right after Temp posted I wanted to ask him if "hugger" was some form of British slang.
Dodged a bullet there.

Yeah, Oz, I've seen it in the local geetarr shoppe, and I wondered which Little Black Aussie wrote the songs.
