| I just bought this fine guitar! I'm looking for detailed info on whether I should start using an XLR cable out of the guitar to the direct box: any suggestions? I would also appreciate any feed back from fellow owners of the C779 LX.
Thanks! |

Location: Orange County, California | If you use the XLR, you don't need the DI. You go right to the XLR Jacks on the snake, or the board. The cable needs to have pin 1 grounded to the shell to turn on the pre-amp. I know "blueberry cables" and "Planet Waves" XLR's work. If phantom power is present, it will also power the pre-amp. |

If you don't have one, and the preamp doesn't work with the XLR plugged in, just plug a regular cable into the 1/4 inch jack, but don't plug the other end into an amp. If the XLR then works, you will know you need a dummy plug. |

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell that happened. |

| Thanks for some of the replies.... Who wouldn't want an attorney for a friend?! When your spouse is clearly winning the argument, you merely look her straight in the eye, and tell her, "My attorney has instructed me not to answer. Please direct all inquiries to his office during regular business hours."
I have another question: I put EXP10 (extra lights) on my Custom Legend. Should I have the truss bar adjusted?
Mahalo for your kokua! |

". . and THAT Your Honor, is "WHY" I killed her . ."
EXTRA Lights(???)
You may not HAVE to adjust the truss rod, but you CAN go into the kitchen drawer and throw away the cheese slicer .. . |
