I've been commissioned to restore a Breadwinner back to original electronics or as close as possible. the current innards are not remotely like the originals in any way except for the pickups. The preamps used FETs and had active tone controls and unusual switching. Here's one version of the manual to give you an idea: http://www.ovationtribute.com/Catalogues/70_Ovation_Solid_Body_Owne... Schematics are available for the preamps but they use some custom-made parts that are VERY hard to find. You're lucky to have the original pickups- lots of Breadwinners were hacked up with full-size humbuckers and the preamp removed. -Steve W. The only replacement assemblies reside in the bins and drawers of Pack Rats like us.
