| What color is my Anniversary? According to Ovation, the -7 is the code for Antique Brown, but it doesnt look like it. This one looks red to me.

Location: SoCal | When I was mixing acrylic paints to repair a finish crack on an Anniversary...brown, red, and a drop of yellow.
I would describe the finish on the Anniversary (and on a 1658 Custom Legend slothead 12-string that I have) as orange-brown.
A beautiful finish...on the 1658, only dark sunburst and natural were listed as available finishes...must have been a custom order.
By the way, easiest method (that I have found) is to mix the paints on the top next to the crack, then wipe off the excess. Seal with water soluable glue or CyA. |
