Location: North Carolina | Some years back I bought a folding bar stool in Wal-Mart. It opens to full bar stool height (about 30"), cost asbout $20, has a padded seat and is great for gigs. I recently went back to buy another, and they don't have them any more. What they have is much shorter.
Anyone have a line on where I might find what I'm looking for? Thanks. |

Aren't the regular ones easy enough to fall-off? |

That said... Target, K-mart, Pier 1 is cheaper than Ikea, Big Lots has all kinds of cheapie furniture made outta Beaver-board.
Wal-marts is really starting to turn to crap! (As if it was ever Great... But when Sam Walton was alive, the really only had American-made stuff. Anyone remember them days?) |

Location: big island | i've got one of those black folding walmart bar stools. i don't usually cuss, but what a literal pain in the ass!
without putting extra padding on it, i just can't sit on it through more than two songs. it certainly is convenient though. |

Location: NJ | i once had contact with a jobber that sold karaoke stools that folded they were perfect for solo gigs I lost touch with the guy and have yet to find them again. I wish I bought a pile of them they were lightweight comfortable and perfect for that small gig. |

Location: Rego Park, NY, | I purchaced the Ikea bar stool called Franklin on Sunday and had to go back yeasterday because I didn't notice that one of the rubber feet were missing. The price is supposed to be 29.99 but mine rang up for 24.99. My wife was insisting that I not buy the stool. I know for a fact from our past history that everytime this type of situation happens she winds up using the item more than me. Hmmm-maybe I should have ordered the OFC guitar. ;) |
