I've been looking at the G7 12 string capo
and the Planet Waves NS capo.
I know a lot of people rave about the G7 but is it worth the extra $$$? |

Location: NJ | On all of my 12-strings, I use a Shubb12.
It's the only one that works cosistently EVERY time. Period.
On my 6-string, a regular Kyser KwikChange.
On the nylons, a Kyser Classical (it's dead "straight" for flat fingerboards).
On the LongNeck Adamas, I use a G7 as it's the only capo that can "grip" the carved acanthus headstock when not in use (and it maches the tuner hardware;-). I also use a Kyser on it that I've "cut" to capo everything but the 1st & 6th strings.
I've also got a Kyser ShortCut capo and a couple of Gbands . . . |

I suppose sneaking a new $40 capo in the house would be easier than a new guitar. :D |

Location: Reno, NV | I have the Planet Waves NS one shown in the picture. I like it alot, light as a feather, simple desing, micro adjustable tension. Its clamp curvature is designed for a "C" neck, but it still fits on out Ovation soft "V". Its slim enough that it doesn't interfere with your knuckles. |

Very quick to fit. I only have a 6 string version and therefore cannot comment on 12 string versions. |

They're the best 12-string capo I've ever used. |
