I could really use some advice. I purchased a used 1777LX. I received a 1867, are they comparable? I thought I had done enough review to want an LX.

I play acoustic most of the time, and I fingerpick most often. I would appreciate any advice, comparison. Also, is there a difference in the value, construction, pick up? The pre amp is not what I expected, I had read the LX has the tuning feature, this guitar does not.

I look forward to your input...
regards,

The 1777LX is worth a bunch more.
They are both legends, but one is new with an OP-Pro and LX bracing, and an LX neck.
So yeah... If you bought it online you need to return the 1867.
Unless you want it for historical reasons.

1867 at Elderly for under $500...

1777LX on sale for $949...

Also, A 1777 is a Mid depth bowl vs a 1867 which is a Shsllow depth bowl. The 1777LX is,in my opinion a much better guitar for your style as it's Volume unplugged projects better.
