Here's another one: Musician's Friend has a large Ovation assortment (as do other online dealers); which O's are super-shallow? Very hard to tell from the somewhat inconsistent writeups. In general, can one tell SS models from their model number alone? This is the type I'm most interested in, but - ??? Thanks. There is no such system for Celebrity's. MF, and other sites are kinda undependable on their listings. A half-dozen sites (MF included) listed my GC057 as a mid-depth, which it ain't. It is an SSB. I would recommend doing a search on any guitar you are considering, and look for side photos. That is the most dependable way. Even the descriptions can be wrong. Look for a photo of the pre-amp, and do a comparison. Make sure it is a photo of the actual guitar, not a stock photo of just the pre-amp. For example: CC28, CC48, CS257, CC059, 1861, 4861, S861, CE868, 1869, 1868T.. You'll find one.
