Location: SoCal | It will be interesting to see what Nils has to say...my U681T should arrive tomorrow in Madras for a four week loan. Most likely, the first textured top to grace that beautiful area...ah, rainbow trout, steelhead...more time, I would have delivered it personally. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | If I'd have known, he could have borrowed mine. I'm lots closer. I also wish I had the time to get over there more often, but the drive from here across the Oregon desert isn't too enticing and a guitar and my wife both won't fit in the Boxster. |

Yep, I doubt there will be much activity, other than Adamas-angling, around Nils Narrows, during the hiatus. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'll be on a wine tour in low central baliwick when I should be at the factory tour. Since my wife insists on going along, maybe I'll look you up, Chris, so I can try your Ovations. |

Location: Central Oregon | I'm fairly sure it will be here tomorrow. The Custom Elite made it really fast from San Diego. I'm looking forward to tryng out the U681T. I've only actually seen one textured top Adamas in my whole life. I didn't get to play it. Some lucky dude brought it to a jam session I went to about four years ago. The place was a madhouse & I barely got a chance to talk to the guy.
The Ute is mostly for a friend of mine to try out. He has big hands & is forever complaining that he needs a guitar with a 1-3/4" nut. I mentioned that to Tony & he offered to send up the Ute for him to take for a test drive. I paid for it's trip up here & Dean will ship it back to Tony in a month. Since I'm paying half the freight I'm going to keep it for a week or so before Dean can take it home. :)
Thanks again for the loan Tony! |

Location: closely held secret | Actually, a textured top has been through Madras a few times. If I had known Nils lived there, I would have made arrangements to stop and visit. It's just a little over 100 miles from me. |

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Not to hijack the thread, but Mark, drop me a line when you're in the area. I can pack a few critters in the Cutlass, and go find you, if need be. I'm not up to public performance, but if its at the end of the tour, the crowd may not be discriminating, to be sure! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | If we meet, it will have to be after I ditch the Porsche guys. That's hard to do. John plays very well, as his CD shows. I told him I didn't recognize anything he was playing and was really impressed when he said it was all his own stuff. |

| That was me on his cd. And I was playing left-handed on a rtight-handed guitar and I'm right-handed. I was also standing on my head at the time. |

It shouldn't be that hard to ditch the Porsche guys - just start proudly showing pictures of your other car...

Location: Boise, Idaho | I always wanted a Pacer. Actually I wanted an AMX. Mark Donahue was my hero, driving for AMC and Porsche with Penske. Only the good die young. That's why I'm still alive. |
