HD-28VS, slope shoulder dreadnaught
rosewood back and sides
herringbone trim
12 fret, 1-3/4 neck
slothead w/ waverly tuners

This guitar is in the MAJOR LEAGUES of acoustic sound. Samova turned me on to this model a few years ago and I've never looked back. I don't know the ebay seller but this is a great price (less than I paid).
I know I've been pimping the OM's and Tak's and stuff but seriously, this is a whole nother beast. If someone here seriously appreciates unplugged acoustic sound this is the monster for you.
There's photos on mine on my website. Mine ain't going ANYWHERE!

Dave
PS - Sorry of I misinterpreted your email. I didn't sense that you were interested to buy this. I thought you were sending it to me thinking that maybe I would be interested in it, not knowing that I already had one.
PSS - Just buy it. You can always file for bancrupcy. It's the american way. Your wife would understand. She could never be angry at such a wonderful father to the children, right? |

I don't have the balls to send the link to my wife. She already thinks that Dave is a bad influence ever since I paid him a visit. She didn't even want to go in the house, but did look at the pictures of his collection and said "you don't have any blue ones." She's regretted that statement ever since. She figures the OFC guitar qualifies.
You could really make yourself useful and send me an invitation to visit you in Hawaii. Maybe buy a guitar over here and ask me to deliver it. Sometime next fall would be nice. I think that might help her recover from the OFC purchase and it would be good for her to meet someone from the OFC besides Dave. |

excellent idea but with one caveat, by next fall i will probably be as bad an influence as dave. i won't have as much discretionary income, but i'll have his fever nonetheless. i sense the symptoms already... |

I have no use for a 12 fret w/o a cutaway.

i'm still a bit troubled over my vocal chord problems. a month without dairy products has helped somewhat, but i still ain't up to par. on my gigs, i've been singing lead very seldom in order to recoup my pipes. wuz gonna visit an ENT doc if it didn't get better soon but it now seems i am making progress. stay tuned... |

Stephen, you been running on the same plan as Dave.
(1)Check available guitars.
(2)Check list of wanted guitars list.
(2a)If guitar is on list, go to #3
(2b)If guitar is not on list, go to #3
(3)Determine if guitar appeals to taste.
(4)Buy guitar.
The first step to recouvery is to admit...well you know.
We're all here for you, Stephen. ;)
:D :D :D
Nice addition you got there, Stephen! Lucky dog.

My gain is usually someone else's gain......and pretty much all the guitars I have left for someone else to gain (buy) are awesome.
Soon I'll be on that one in / one out diet! |
