...this guitar is great looking, plays great and a tone machine.I paid $400 for this about 2 weeks ago. There is one ding on the body and one ding on the binding of the first fret. Neither interfere with the playability or sound:

A lot to love in this guitar; the designer sure knew what he was doing. A great guitar at triple the price.

Regards,

Tom

Does look like a player but I've always been partial to white/gold electrics. Almost bought a white/gold LP back in the late 70's and I kick myself to this day. Glad it's a good one.

One is the 'talent boost' switch and the other is the 'suck' switch. If you get them in the right positions, your playing really sounds impressive.

Or, uh, something.

That can't be it.
Everyone knows SUCK is a potentiometer, not a switch. And it's on the mixing board.

Which is why you have to be nice to the soundguy.

Weaser P,

Thank you. The gold on white is a great look.

Jim,

I don't know about that. I think I'll try this strap first and see if it works:

Designzilla,

Thank you. I was having a bit of trouble with the lighting. White is a hard color to shoot for me.

I don't know anything about the calendar so tell me more.

Tom

Slipkid,

The switches appear to be for switching the pickup from single coil to humbucker. It makes the guitar very versatile.

Well at least I now have an excuse for why I play so bad.

If you find an extra, let me know, Tom. I've been told there's no excuse for my playing!

Have to tell you, Tom, that is a beautiful looking UKII. I think the last time I posted about a UK I said that a white one with ebony board and the bowtie inlays would be my preferred configuration. CWK2 posted that the white ones only ever had the abalone inlays (I think that's right), but they still look sharp to me. Great looking guitar.

The switches are serial/parallel switches.
