MY MARTIN GALLERY
These guitars have been buried in the way back pages of the Ovation Gallery for too long. Think what you like about them, but I thought they deserved to be displayed in a home of their own.
In two weeks a few of us will visit Nazareth PA for a factory tour, so I thought this was as good a time as any to roll out the new site. If you see anything buggy let me know.

1. The wood background in the banner graphic is a closeup shot of my HD28VS.
2. The abalone horizontal border at top and bottom of the text area is made from a photo of the body trim on my OM-42.
3. The tortoise shell looking background on the buttons is made form a photo of the pickguard on the 000-Koa.
It was kinda fun putting it together like this. Very personalized.

Collecting them is at a whole different level. Kinda like the difference between snorting cut and mainlining pure.
Hey, they are both addictions and both can kill you. |

Dave, you misunderstand, it was a warning, stick with the new ones! Since I've gotten the old Martins I've become unemployed, moved from a house to a two family, from a Mercedes to a Chevy, and am down to playing in songwriting contests at a place called "the Frisky Mermaid" for milk money. Stick with the new ones!!!
Don't let this happen to you. |

In the scope of Martin guitar collections, mine is like a radio controlled hobby plane. Real collections of vintage Martins are private lear jet material. I guess I could sell every instrument I own and drop $35k on a vintage Martin. But I'm not sure that would make me very happy.
Man, collecting ukuleles is EASY. I've had quite a few really cool ones for under a hundred bucks each!

Not to be anal but "owned by myself" should be corrected to say "owned by me".

Vic it's a natural laxative Funny thing about Metamucil. It's a bulk forming laxative that is supposed to make you go. On the otherhand if you take to much it causes constipation. You just have to know when enough is enough.
