one of the most underappreciated individual songs, IMO, was done by the sanford townsend band; "smoke from a distant fire". excellent vocals and arrangement. |

.
And I think they mis-spelled # 23.
If I was Dave, I'd feel more underappreciated than usual. |

Location: Bluffton, SC | I agree with a few of them (as is typical with me and these lists) but Seger underappreciated? I always thought he was OVERappreciated. The Heads without a doubt. |

| I've never heard of 10 of them.
And Brian Ferry is currently fighting a rearguard action over here since he mentioned in a German newspaper interview how much he admired the Nazi aesthetic - the architecture, the marches, the parades.....
The guy is a dickhead and always has been. |

The guy is a dickhead and always has been. i don't know a thing about the man or his politics, but i used to really enjoy his music, especially the album, "avalon". it brings back many memories as it is music my ex and i enjoyed about the time of my first daughter's birth (1989) |

Location: GA USA | My two favorite bands, Husker Du and Dinosaur Jr, are on that list. And yes, many people you talk to aren't familiar with them, but underappreciated? The people who know them (and Fugazi, Sonic Youth...) appreciate them plenty. The bands on SST Records were cool, but not all for the masses.
By the way, Dino Jr's first new album with the original lineup in NINETEEN YEARS was released this week. You can hear four whole songs from it at dinosaurjr.com
I'd even say a few of those bands might be overappreciated. |

| Mr K - you've got to spend less time with Temp. Your command of the Queen's English is almost perfect. |
