I need new tuners on 1968 Tornado.
Ovation has Kluson Vintage replacements
(like orginals) or Schaller gears available.
Thoughts on which are better and why?? |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Not to confuse things, and I don't know if they'll work for you, but I really like Planet Wave Auto-Trims. If you monitor it you can get a new set on ebay for $43.00.
I like these because they are stable, have a fine tuning ratio and I don't have to mess with cutting strings. Very good if you need to replace a snapped string in an emergency.
Of course, my other favorite tuner company is schaller. |
