I'm just wondering what the average size collection is? Include all guitar makes, models (basses count) |

Not enough categories to select from on the poll. |

Location: cincinnati, ohio | I don't know as I'd call what I have a "collection." I've got a '71 Balladeer with Fishman pickup; '74 Pacemaker 12-string with Fishman pickup; 2005 C257 with OP 30; and a 2001 Ibanez AEF18TVS with Fishman Sonicore onboard pickup/preamp. They're all working guitars; the Ibanez goes on gigs where the percentage of incurring bodily harm (either to me or the guitar) is high. I don't do many of those gigs anymore! :D |

Had it for about 3-4 years now.
I'm a big Harrison fan, and have quite an affinity for ukes . . .
I need to "move up" to a bigger one tho, . . .
I picked this one up as a "starter" but the neck is bit too small for my rather corpulent fingers. |

the "kumu" (teacher) of my wife's hula troupe has an ovation 6 string tenor. it is AMAZING plugged in.
there is a small music store chain on this island whose owner has some kind of mothership connection and got them to construct some six stringers. i gotta get me one. |

Six acoustics: one Applause 6-string, four Ovation 6-strings, one Adamas ME 12-string. Six electrics: five Fender Strats and a G&L Legacy (a.k.a. Fender Strat).
This doesn't include my six mountain dulcimers. :D

Two of my guitars are worth less than 50 bucks. Do they still count? |

I was gonna let you give me a guitar, so you could return to your previous Glory.
On the Bright Side, you've got more room if you wanna go shopping. :D |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I just increased mine by one, an Ultra GS3 for $132.50 off ebay. I'm in the doghouse again, but my wife claimed that she never buys anything just because it was cheap. I busted her on that one and she knew it as soon as she said it. I couldn't help it. It was sitting at $125 with 2 hours left and it's red. Doesn't move me up a category, but I'm still above average. You guys hurry up. |

I have 2 loaned out to friends, another at the office, one at the FedEx corral, and the other 5 whining for attention. I don't count the tenor banjo, or ersatz Tele- plays like crap, though the electronics are wicked!
Also, the 2 carcasses in the lab will be transfiguring soon. The cedar top is being joined & glued for the old deep-bowl, presently. |

Didn't you already have a GS? Yes, and I hardly ever use it. It is a GS II, with 2 humbuckers. This one is a III, with humbucker, single, single. I'm going to have to learn to play an electric now. If this one turns out good, it was a steal. |
