I have to buy a Tye-Dye shirt at every single craft show that I go to.I have about 20 of them and never seem to get to wear them very much except on the weekends in the summertime and they always get a complement from some one who sees it.GWB. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | OK GWB, I'll ask the obvious question. WHY do you have to buy a TDTS at every craft show you go to? If it's an OCD thing, then you could try NOT going to the craft show ???
I'm just trying to follow the logic. It would be like me saying a have to buy a beer in every bar I go to ... how silly. BTW, speaking of beer, I just got back from Moab and these mormons make you buy a membership to the pub. So for the record I am an official 30 day member at Woody's Tavern and I got the $5. membership card to prove it. So there.

Tupp-- In Alabama, everyone belongs to the Lions, Kiwanis, Elks, Amvets or VFW...

I'm gettin' ready t'shave my goddam head!!
I don't need to propagate even MORE personal torment by bedecking myself in something that looks like the product of a SummerCamp craft project.
The only good thing about tie-dyed t-shirts is that they facilitate target practice . . . |

My t shirt collection is getting rather dated. I wore one yesterday that was purchased in 1980 and my wife advised me to "take that thing off"
I'm amazed it still fits me...well it's a little tighter around the mid section than what I remember but no shirt I buy today is gonna last another 20 years. |

I think I have 2 both were promos for some product trying to bank on the old days.
I have no problem wearing them, they were free. like most of the t shirts I have

GROUND SCORE!
As you leave, many interesting items are left behind. The stragglers find them.
If you are driving them, they give these things to you.
They also make hemp necklaces(with, inexplicably, commercially-produced beads woven in.)
I made my own glass beads, but I said,"Thanks", and hugged them, no matter how bad they smelled. I probably stunk, too. As for the things? I cherish them as memories.
If you buy them now, you are buying from VENDORS.
If you have to collect crap, at least collect crap with memories. |

Then, you'll have a Guinness or three and vomit shortly thereafter and you will have already fulfilled a musical tradition going back generations. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I had a couple. Now I have Porsche shirts, tire shirts (when you spend $900 on a set of tires, you ought to get a shirt) and a few guitar shirts.
My daughter has all the hippy genes in the family. She just informed us that she quit her job with PETA and is going to spend the summer riding around the NorthWest in an old VW camper with her boyfriend, looking for a place to settle down. Where did we go wrong?
I don't know if she realizes that 30 years ago her parents did the same thing and that's how she ended up here. |

Pearl's parents hand a chinese laundry in the Bronx for many years. Later Pearl's dad was a partner in a chinese resturant named China Bowl. My mother's uncle was also a partner in the same resturant. |
