Can any of you own up to having any Beatle Stuff?By far my favorite band.GWB |

Location: Central Florida | My first professional gig out of high school was playing "Paul" in a Beatles tribute band, so I had the whole rig: boots, the black suit with velvet colar, a tan neru jacket (ala Shea Stadium), etc. About the only thing I didn't have (since our emphasis was on the early Beatles) was a Sgt. Pepper suit! :) |

Location: NJ | The first successful submarine was built/launched in my hometown of Paterson, NJ by John P. Holland.
The actual submarine (it was fairly small) was placed as a monument to Mr. Holland in WestSide Park.
In the mid-60's JFK H.S. was built adjacent to the park (and said sub).
When the "YellowSubmarine" movie came out . . . naturally, . . . the sub got painted bright yellow. The City re-painted in grey, . . . and it got painted yellow . . . again . . .
This went on for NUMEROUS weeks, until a local retired Navy man re-painted it grey . . . himself . . . and "camped out" in his van NEXT to it . . . with a shotgun.
Years later, it sadly fell victim to urban graffiti/vandalism. It has since found a place of honor inside the Paterson Museum. |

Heh heh...kind of shoes everyone was wearing to upset their parents, kind of halfhigh, with highish heels, the real ones had a zipper on the inside of the legg...
M Jagger`s were very pointy at the toes... :)

They had to, you couldn't run for **** in them. |
