Location: South Carolina | Could not resist a recent eBay auction for a 1991 Legend 1717 with a white top to match my 1985 Legend 1717 with a black top - an instrument that is without a doubt the best guitar with a hole in it I ever owned. I know some limited edition Melissa Etheridge models were produced with a white top, but I have never seen one in the Legend Series. The Ovation website and catalogs do not list white as a color option. Could this possibly be a special order custom finish factory guitar? Any information or opinions will be appreciated - thanks. |
