Location: scotland | hi all from sunny scotland , yesterday i picked up an applause 12 string ae-35 s/n is 178668 and it has the old style headstock on it the labal inside states it was made in korea .I'm just wondering if there is anyway to get a rough idea of it's age ? going by the wear on the frets and the amount of gunk on the fretboard (i had to scrape it off with a steel rule ) it must be an 80's model , not sure though , i've searched the net and can't seem to find anyway to get a date on it , thanks in adavance
