The first Ovations were imported to Europe in the early 70s. Back in the 60s I assume no original Josh White found the way to the old world. So this fine specimen had to wait 40 years to make the long journey to Paris. There it is going to find an owner who really deserves it. Congrats Jerome!

Jerome, I was so close at bidding on this one, but I figured I need another guitar like...well, you know. Congrats on this one, and I too hope it's as nice as it looks! :D

What's with all the name changes?
Waskel -> wabbit, johnnycash -> jasons, paulmac -> jerome, kid-school ->charlie ramon, jpcannon -> trader jim. I'm sure there are more.

My mind isn't as sharp as it used to be and I can't keep track.

If a new member appears by the name of 'grizzly old fart' you'll know it's me.

I was lusting after that one, too, but since I already broke the "no more guitars for awhile" law and the OFC is about to arrive, I had to pass.

Thanks guys,

This J.White seems to be in good condition and it will have a special place in my music room.
As far as I know, it will be the second in France and Tom owns the first one... ;)

Why changing my display name??
Just because Jérôme is my real name and I love it.

J :)
