Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | I know just how you feel...I got my T-Bolt Snakeskin back during the factory tour. These are fantastic guitars...This model was just overlooked for the most part during its brief run...ahead of their time, they sound good plugged in or not...and the mothership crew does great restoration/repairs...Congrats! |

Location: Nashville TN. | It has the most playable neck on any acoustic period. regardless of maker.
I showed mine to Mike Nanni a guy who was in long standing regional cover ban Bates Motel in 1980's and 90's here in New England.
He was shocked by how easy it played.
Said it plays like well set up Stratocaster.
I think it simply did not look right.
I thought it was ugly and had to be talked into trying it back in Aug of 89.
The lady in the store said "Just try it, that one is magic" I strummed 1 open E and said "sold".
I was about to leave and go buy the Taylor 615 I played earlier.
You know what I hear a lot?
I don't like Ovations but that one sounds great!
In part I think its in part because of
the number of Celbs out there.
They look so close to USA Ovations its hard to tell them apart. While the Celbs are a lot guitar for the money, they don't sound anywhere near the USA made ones. I thought that a different headstock for imports might be a good idea. |

I agree with you on that one! The off shore models should have a visible "tell" on them. :D |
