Hey gang, remember that punk Adam Ingram, who plays bass in the band "Seven Story Fall"? Well, SSF is trying to get added to the bill for Vans Warped Tour (Atlanta date) in August, and you can help.

Here's all you do: Go to Battle Of The Bands - Seven Story Fall

You can even listen to the 3 songs on their new EP. It may not be your cup o' tea, but I support them out of what the Dread Pirate Robert would call TRUE LOVE.

Click the VOTE link (under Profile Navigation) and fill out the form. It'll send you an email, and you click on the link in the email to cast the vote.

Adam says he sincerely appreciates the support.

Thanxabunch,

Jas

Hey Jas, they sound great. Definitely as good as what they play on rock radio these days.

They got my vote.

Like Jason said.... They are better than alot of stuff that I hear on "The KUFO Metal Madness Moment" (or whatever) Hey, they ain't half-bad. (I used to hang with the Punk-rockers, so I have no taste.) And I'll send anyone on a tour if I can. Don't cost nothin'!

Thanks, guys. I like to encourage them. They write all their own music, they're all 17 yrs old, and they play a lot of shows with guys in their 20's who don't sound any better, imho.

Thanks, Randy.

Phil, I was gonna contact you about that, to see if your kids knew about the 7. I thought it would be fun to meet up at the show. Let's do it for sure.

I'll let you know if it is, Pauly. I think they're due from the duplicators really soon. Then I guess we'll have a party to insert the booklets and tray cards.

Capt - vote cast. My wife used to babysit for the lead singer of Autopilot Off - another Warped Tour band from a few years ago.

I wish your son and his band the best of luck.

I don't think you can find out the voting ahead of time, but you can see the number of "Battle Plays", whatever that is. I guess it's how many times people play the songs from your profile. I checked the other day and they had by far the most plays of any Atlanta area rock-genre band.

Bands can still sign up for another month or so. When the deadline arrives, the top 20 vote getters are evaluated by a board, based on musicianship and ability to draw a crowd.

So... dunno.

Crimson Lake was nice enough to ask how Adam's band was going. The results are in and Seven Story Fall was one of three bands picked to play at the Atlanta show, aside from the regular lineup. Thanks for helping.

Very cool. Conrats to your son, Jas! That will be a fun gig! Great way to impress the girls too. And that's at least partly why any guy joins a band...

Jas, best of luck to your son and his group. Same type that my son plays, not really my taste or choice, but that's probably why they play it.

Concert was yesterday. I saw about 10 or so bands before I left. They had a ball. Warped even had their own merch tent set up for them, right between Killswitch Engage and The Chariot. I talked to Adam before I went to bed last night and they were hanging out on My American Heart's tour bus, so they had the time of their lives. Thanks again to all who voted.

They went 30 minutes. As far as I could tell, everybody was doing quick shows, which was nice since we were baking in the hot sun. After about 4 hours, I was worn out from the heat.

Must have been the new haircut. Advice from one who knows: wear a hat!

Looks like a great time was had by all! Continued Good Luck to the band.
