Seriously, when your guitar list is longer than your post you have a real GAS problem.

I do enough to bring down the tone of the site. It's the least I can do to improve things around here....well, maybe not the least. |

I have working out on the OFC Tour Uke and I'm ready to change strings.
The Martin M600 set says its ADF#B. Does it matter?
Should I pursue the Aquila, GHS or Gaudapule's you recommended? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Some people tune their sopranos 2 frets higher (ADF#B vs. GCEA). As far as the Martin strings go it really does not matter. They'll sound shitty no matter how you tune them. If you already have them, then use and abuse them. If not, buy the Aquila's.

Dave, I finally had time to sit down and read your handouts last night. I had been memorizing the chords, and the "5th fret thing" opened up a new world for me. It made perfect sense. Thanks.
Hopefully the "sounds like - looks like" method will become 2nd nature with a little work. |
