Location: Lubbock, Texas | Ok, my first message; hello all. So, there's this Celebrity Delux on eBay and the sticker is positioned inside the shell so that it appears through the maple leaf sound holes. Is this typical? Makes me wonder about seller because most of the photos of Os I've seen do not show the O sticker.
Thanks all.

Oops. Sorry, new jeffw. Thought I was talking to old Jeff W.
Yes, it is normal for the label to show.
Welcome, by the way. |

And yes, that is where the sticker is on Ovations (and Celebrity's) with the cool sound-holes. Alot of people selling Celebrity's on eBay don't show you the sticker cuz they are hoping you don't know the difference between an O and a C.
(about $500 to $1000 :p )
Thanx all for OzzyFudd! |

Location: Lubbock, Texas | Looks like my screen name won't be the only thing I regret. Actually, I feel right at home. Thanks. Sticker is norm, ok, but should I watch out for copycats out there? I had an 057 until today when I returned it; my used cc268 arrives this week. $235 a bad price? I'm looking at a black celebrity deluxe as well (the one with the usual sticker) and it's under $200. |

jeffw, you're doing fine, sounds like good deals and there aren't really copies floating around the US anyway. |

Location: closely held secret | Hardly a trip. The county park's only about 15 minutes away from home (8-10 by motorcycle!).
For that matter, hardly camping. But we're going late this afternoon, camping tonight, I'm going to work tomorrow, then camp through Sunday. Except for Friday, when it's a quick run home to water the veggies.
I call it a temporary voluntary lowering of my standard of living. But we're among good friends and have a great time. |
