at least not for a 12 string deluxe or bluebird neck.. apparently with the recess on the back of the body for the plate, and the recessed nuts in the neck only takes in 1/2" before bottoming out..to the fretboard or blowing the bottoms of the nuts out into the fretboard... ... apparently need 1-7/8" or 1-3/4" to fully seat it without trouble.

it coulda been ugly had I not checked... and the neck pocket is so tight(intentionally) that the screws will snug it in and seat it.

Did I send you those Neck Bolts?

If yes/no I thought I'd discussed a couple of times that you need to shorten them. I have had some that needed more than the 1 3/8" so my purchase of #10-32's was 2" (minimum quantity of 50).

Of course, it might be an innovative way to remove a Fretboard!
