Location: Rocky River, Ohio | I always like to mention the great job John, Kim and friends do at the service shop.
I dropped off my 1758-4 while at the open house in May for some work.
They worked on stabilizing the bracing as one piece had worked a bit loose. Of course the top looks like glass now, along with the usual great job of fret polishing, and clean up.
I love this particular top since it has, in my opinion, some unique striping on it. It has also aged wonderfully to a deep amber. And of course has that great projected sound.
I've got my 1990 collectors (forgot to mention that I found one while at the open house at a local CT guitar center) in the shop now. It needs a whole lot more work, like a new neck, among other things, but John had a NOS neck on the shelf with those huge jumbo frets, so I know it will look like new when it arrives.
The service dept. also went the extra mile and got my Elite shipped out before their 2 week shutdown, which starts after today.
Great job guys, as usual.

Location: South of most, North of few | I can attest to the great work they do. I usually have a guitar there when they go on one of the two shutdowns a year, and it only adds to the down time wothout it, but when it does get back, WOW! I have to send in the 06 collector when they get back for some warranty work, and then I will probably send the 1537 in for some fret work. | |
