I am amazed at Kenny Rogers exit from Heavy Acid Rock to Country style. What a 360 degree style change , but it worked for him.
Can you think of any other musicians who did a complete flip flop of their music style and had a fantastic carreer after changing? GWB

[And ruined Peter Frampton's career, cuz he made a dumb movie with them.]
Doctor Hook changed his/their style, cuz they got booked by mistake to a festival in New Orleans.
The promoter thought that they were "Doctor John"...
And when they realized that they were the only Caucasians in the Arena, and the Headlining Band, they had to Wing-It.
They suddenly went from a bunch of stoned-freaks playing bars and MC rallies to playing Soul Train and Kasey Kasum. Kinda changed their lives. |

360 degrees would bring him right back to where he started.
(Check question #7 of that "D" Geometry test).
The person that ruined Frampton was Robert Stigwood. |
