Location: Phoenix AZ | Stephen, I would beg to differ with you about this being a wide neck. As far as I am concerned, 1-3/4 is NORMAL, 1-11/16 is SKINNY and 1-7/8 is WIDE. That's a beautiful guitar.

Concerning the wide neck....I am not sure what the D28VS neck is but it is DEFINITELY smaller than the Collings. It almost seems like a classical but plays so easily that even a Dm6 barred at the 3rd fret is a piece of cake. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | D28VS is 1-3/4. A lot of Collings are 1-13/16, maybe that's what this one is. As long as you like it, that's what matters. Dave |

Dave, when are you gonna be in the Springs again?
I think your gonna like this one (even compared to your super Collings!)
Tone report coming soon vs D28VS and EF75. |

Guess I need to pull it out and compare necks. |
