Location: Sydney | Hi OFCers! I’ve often come to this page to steal information, and here I am again. Maybe one day when I’m a bit more of an expert I can contribute some useful info instead of just leeching it.
I’m down in Aus and have a chance to get a Custom Balladeer 1112-4 beauty. Really a pretty guitar, but I’m buying online and I can’t tell how deep the bowl is. I’ve owned a 1112-1 Custom from ‘79 and this had what seemed to be quite a shallow bowl, so I’m after a deeper bowl the second time around.
Is this 1112-4 (1975 I believe) likely to be a deeper bowl than the one I’ve owned? THANKS! |

Wow I think I'm lucky I didn't get a wiser welcome involving comments about the anti-clockwise swirling of sound down here :)
Great deep is good. And bad. Now I have to buy it or something terrible will happen. D'oh! |

Is it likely that the 1975 1112 has a deeper bowl than my 1979 1112, or would they be the same? |
