Location: Paris/France | Hello,
Last week end was a great moment for us in Europe because it was the first edition of the "EurOFC" gathering at Karl's house in Germany.
The "EurOFC" name is maybe presumptuous because we were only 4 but everything has a beginning isn't it??
The visit of the Schaller factory was very interesting and just like at the Ovation Factory, most of the work is hand made.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to take pics into the factory... :(
We're happy to share SOME OF THE PICS with you.
We've had so much great times together with Karl, Kurt, Tom and I and we've had a special thought for all the people who couldn't be there with us (especially Schroeder the "Rosbeef")... :D
It will be for the next time.
Karl had the great pleasure to get his OFC guitar the first day of our gathering.
It was a sign...
Thanks you guys, it was a real pleasure to be with you and thanks to Sigrid (Karl's wife) for her kindness and the wonderful BBQ!!
I hope you will enjoy the pics.
J :) |

One comment, the sign that Karl is holding up that says "Ovation"... shouldn't that read "Adamas"? |

Sounds like everyone had a great time and there sure were some great looking guitars for everyone to enjoy. I spent three years in Germany, but unfortunely never got to Nurenburg - made it to Heidelburg, Ramstein, and other locals - really enjoyed that tour. Congratulations to all. |

Hahaha. It's easy to see that guitar came from Al.
Very nice collection of guitars across the board. Excellent photography. That Lennon sure is a pretty guitar. :) |

Jerome is the only one I ever would have let it go to and I'm so glad that among all his great instruments that is the one he took with him to the gathering. Jerome, you are lucky that I was NOT there !!!

I had to make a decision: Hiding my face - or hiding my belly. Now that I see it - maybe I should have held it higher.
AND take a bigger guitar!

You know that this guitar is my pride and my favorite.
I love her look, her sound and her glossy neck is made for my hand.
And I've decided to bring that one with me also because I know that you do appreciate to know that she's not sleeping in a case under a bed...
She sings every week!!
