Need old Ovation help!!!! PICS

Remember this post from last June 13, 2006. Model 1537-x Well I got the guitar back from a neck reset and a clean up of the fingerboard. Strung with nylon strings, plays and sounds great. This is the first and only nylon I have so what do I know. I will try to post some pics soon.

Thanks for all the help back last year,
wd

It's a 1537, but nylon strings? Is it like this one: http://www.ovationgallery.com/page6string1537.htm or something completely different?

EDIT: I see the pics here: http://www.ovationfanclub.com/cgi-bin/ubb/non-cgi/ultimatebb.php?ub...
Interesting.

Bracing of a 1537 would be far too strong to be moved by Nylon strings....when bracing is different than it ain“t no 1537...an Elite maybe..

...Still waiting on the pic's...(maybe it was braced as a 1537-Folklore, so it may have originally had steel strings??...)

Sorry about being late with the pictures. Some were asking about the bracing on this 1537, it has fan bracing. Couple dings here and there. The top is even in color, the picture has a little glare. Crack in top has been glued and the electrics are missing.

In the photos, in the side shot of where the knobs used to be, it looks like I see a residue line from where an anti-slip pad might've once resided. I wonder the previous owner was left-handed?

Edit: disregard the above post. I just looked again and the line I thought was glue residue is too high up to be what I thought. I guess it's just a scratch.

It's probably a 2 inch nut since it's 12 fret to the body. Standard classical.....

I have a brand new 30 year old Viper I just put together I'll trade ya!

One piece Mahogany Body, One piece Maple neck, Ebony Fretboard and a matched set of Koa PG/TRCs.

Okay, seriously that is an eclair among Twinkies. With serial 303266 it is within 45 units of the end of the line. I'd be interested in seeing the bracing.

And if you need a Viper...
