Location: Tennessee | Sure. They were all unique, so you really can't fake one. Besides, they'll never be worth big money ... with or without a COA, the market value will be about the same. If you're really spooked, the label inside the bowl serves the same purpose as a COA. |

I just know that I don't have it, and I'm ok with that. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I would guess that the COA is the first thing that usually gets lost. I've never seen a Collectors Series guitar that was NOT authentic (with all due respect to the nice chinese knockoffs), so I'm not sure what value the COA actually has. It's a little different for example if you're into collecting movie stars pubic hairs, where you need the COA to prove that the items are authentic. Dave |

(Which must be a really cool feeling to have). |

If you were to sell the guitar, the buyer shouldn't care either.
Kinda reminds me of when you buy something with a Lifetime Warranty,
and five years later they wanna see the receipt.
Like Dave sez, the COA is the first thing to get lost...
Along with the key for your case, and that little allen wrench. (But I have others) |

Resold a couple, didn't seem to be a problem. Either it is or it isn't. |

Only joking. I have it right here.
Email me your address and I'll send it off.
I even have an unclaimed COA from a '97 Collector's. It was in a case that I purchased.
Hey Glenn, what happened to those tuner buttons? |
