Location: Winston-Salem, NC | Can anyone here compare the 2005 Collector's model to the 2003 model? I have an '03 currently, but I am thinking of switching to the '05. Anyone have a preference between the two? |

Location: Marlton, NJ | I had the '05 for a few months and I miss it. The contour bowl fit my contoured body pretty well. The neck played like an electric guitar. The action was low. I liked the swoosh on the neck. The engelman spruce was nice to look at. The one thing I didn't like about it was the way the nut was cut. The high E string was cut too close to the edge. I probably should have fixed it and kept it, but I ended up trading it for something else.
I would definitely get another if I had an opportunity and the time was right. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Very different guitars. The '05 has a better top, better bracing, better bowl, better neck, and better electronics. Other than that it's a toss up.
