| ok... I now have all components for the 12 and am ready to solder it all up and have final set-up done..
I am using UKII wiring diagram and wiring in the stereo jack as well, 250k cts for the tone pots, 500k cts for the volume, .22/200 pio caps, and that's as made from the factory..
were any of the specs or components different on the 12 strings?
would 500k pots on the tones be better or too bright?
and I have a couple of mil-spec caps .001ufd corning glass that I can throw in for treble bleeds on the circuit as well...
are they/do they brighten the circuit up a lot at lower volumes?
or should I just stick with the factory specs?
I'm using oem UKII pickups with original switching on the coil taps.. and a 500k blender in place of the 3-way..
Thanks,

I figure it'll be done in a week or two.. just got the pickguard bracket... waiting on a tracing to make the pickguard and see if I like it.
Char's surgery is on hold for about 8 weeks, they want to continue to work on the clot in the atrium with bloodthinners ... at least the new grandbaby..another one... should be here by then.
my daughter Katherine just had a son.. Lucas Anniken Gaffney.. my oldest grandchild.. her first is Caden.
3 grands at 46...never thought I'd make it to 46 let alone have grandchildren.
cool
